Helicopter parent: If your 26-year-old son who lives at home is ungrateful for all you have enabled him to do, I suggest, it’s time for him to: Enlist in the military, get a job, grow up and support himself.

I think something you said 40 years ago was insensitive. You’ve moved on and got better informed. More inclusive and tolerant. Let’s give humans another chance.
Congrats on the homelessness initiative as outlined Feb. 2, 2019. However, here is a news flash for Catholic Charities advocate Lynda Bennett — individual value systems must be consistent with the overall community otherwise you have anarchy and failure.
Excellent commentary by Mr. J.J. Volpe. Justified criticism of out-of-control growth in Dewey also applies to what is contemplated for the Dells. The lack of transparency and comments by the mayor and council suggests the “cake has been baked!”
Kudos to letter writer Carla Lois on the subject of immigration policies. She nailed it. This amounts to a brief but informative civics lesson that should be embraced and defended by all Americans and those who wish to be legal citizens.
Since it looks like it’s open season for developers, isn’t it time for a moratorium for a year so City Council and the people of Prescott can get on the same page?
The Democrats want to eliminate income inequality. No problem. Socialist Venezuela has income equality. Everybody is poor.
