Congratulations, greatest respect, and admiration to the team which put down the Viewpoint Fire. Specifically, calling in Tanker 10 at the early stage of the fire was a brilliant, necessary, and bold decision.

Tanker 10 costs are considerable, which weighs heavily on control decisions, totally understandable. Yet, in this fire, Tanker 10 was decisively called at an early stage, profoundly affecting the afternoon’s outcome, which would have been quite bad — it was bad enough as it stands.

So again — the greatest respect, and admiration for the fire control personnel.

Making hard decisions is hard stuff— hats off!
