The 41st annual Yavapai County Contractors Association Home and Garden Show is this weekend — May 17-19, 2019, at the Findlay Toyota Center, Prescott Valley.

You won’t want to miss the great event.

Admission is FREE! The hours are Friday and Saturday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and Sunday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Homeowners can meet with experts, receive professional advice and find everything needed for home improvement, remodeling, and decorating, landscaping, painting, pavers, spa relaxation, windows, HVAC, and the list goes on. Where else can you meet so many vendors under one roof?

The YCCA Home and Garden Show has a wide variety of exhibits with merchandise, product demonstrations, and interior and exterior vignettes. With a combination of new products and expert advice from the pros, the YCCA Home and Garden Show inspires homeowners with countless ideas on enhancing their home’s comfort and functionality, as well as its aesthetic appeal and overall value.

At our home show we strive to provide consumers with an innovative marketplace where they can shop with confidence, compare prices, find the latest in technology and one-of-a-kind items, and get inspired to create their dream homes.

It is always so much fun to meet so many of you who stop to say, you read our column, you call for assistance, and it is pure joy on behalf of YCCA to say “hi.” We expect this will be the best show we ever had and it just keeps growing. I really need a third and fourth floor on the Event Center. YCCA loves bringing the community together with our local industry partners.

There is a large contingency of outdoor vendors from all-terrain vehicles, decorative rock companies, local nursery representatives, our favorite YEI! team, equipment dealers, Affinity RV, Tuff Shed, tiny homes, the Outlaw Welders, and K-9 protection dogs. The list goes on and on and on.

Becoming larger each year is the “meet your local jurisdictional representatives.” On hand will be officials from the City of Prescott, Town of Prescott Valley, Yavapai County, and Town of Chino Valley, in addition to the Town of Prescott Valley Public Works, City of Prescott Water Smart, Yavapai County Assessor’s Office, and PAWUIC. Bring your questions and let’s get answers.

Don’t miss the 41st annual YCCA Home and Garden Show — it is the best ever — and don’t start your next project without YCCA!

To support our community partner, Yavapai Food Bank, the YCCA asks that you bring non-perishable food donations to donate to our wonderful community partners, Ann and Bob Wilson, who work so unselfishly for the food bank. They are truly a treasure, a gem and a peach.

I have a new pair of shoes to support my 45 miles-plus of walking for the three days. Be sure to say “hi,” I would love to meet you.

YCCA, our members and the Board of Directors are totally excited to bring you this event and personally meet so many of you who have called YCCA for assistance. We love being a part of this community.

See you this weekend at the home show!

As Yavapai County grows, the importance of the Yavapai County Contractors Association becomes even more prevalent. We take our responsibility very seriously. Our contractors are licensed, reputable companies and we refer gladly.
