There have been many articles written about the comments made by Rep. David Stringer, both pro and con, from First Amendment rights to he’s racist. I believe that one aspect that has not been expressed is that he was trying to define the problem.

Yes, there is a racial problem in America. I learned in “problem solving” classes and seminars that the problem must be defined and defined correctly in order to be solved. No one wants to define the racial problem. I believe that Stringer was trying to define the problem in his remarks.

Until we are willing to correctly define all aspects of the racial problem, it will never be solved.
