COTTONWOOD — The Prescott girls tennis team wrapped up regular season play with an 8-1 victory over rival Mingus on Monday afternoon.

It is the ninth straight victory for the Badgers (13-1, 7-1 Section II), which fall one win shy of Notre Dame (13-0, 8-0 Section II) of a Section II crown.

Further details of the match between Prescott and Mingus were unavailable at press time.

UP NEXT

The No. 3-ranked Badgers await the Arizona Interscholastic Association's release of the Division II state team bracket, which begins play Tuesday, April 23. State singles and doubles begins Friday, April 26.
