The Arizona Game and Fish Department (AZGFD) will offer a presentation and answer questions from the public at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 24, in the Prescott Valley Public Library auditorium, 7401 E. Civic Circle, in Prescott Valley, about an upcoming pronghorn capture effort.

AZGFD biologists and other personnel will be available to answer questions following the presentation. Topics include the status of the pronghorn population on Glassford Hill, as well as challenges facing pronghorn populations in central Yavapai County.

AZGFD plans a capture operation for late January 2019, in which the pronghorn will be transported and released in southeastern Arizona where they will bolster a small population north of Willcox.

AZGFD is partnering with the Arizona Antelope Foundation and local private landowners on this project.
