Halloween True Stories

Halloween True Stories

October is here, meaning Halloween is near.

To celebrate the spooky season, The Daily Courier is inviting everyone living within the Quad-city area (Prescott, Prescott Valley, Chino Valley, Dewey-Humboldt), to send us true-stories of the creepiest or most paranormal thing that’s ever happened to them. The best submissions will be showcased in the newspaper before the month is up.

If a story involves gore, profanity or anything else that may upset one’s grandmother, please limit those parts of the story and use language appropriate for all ages.

We journalists understand how difficult it is to be concise with one’s writing – especially when telling a good story – but please keep submissions to 500 words or less. All stories must be sent to Max Efrein at mefrein@prescottaz.com by Sunday, Oct. 21. If there are any photos that relate to the story, please include those with the story submission.

Once the Courier receives a story, it will be reviewed and possibly edited to fit the newspaper’s standards before being considered for publication.

All questions may also be sent to mefrein@prescottaz.com.
