Stacy O. Stine

Stacy O. Stine, born to Danny Lee and Charlotte V., on Feb. 24, 1974, in Warsaw, Indiana, passed away on March 16, 2018, in Prescott, Arizona, at age 44.

Stacy is survived by his father, Danny; his older brothers, Rodney (wife, Theresa and children, Ashley Bryant and Lance Menzie) and Christopher (children, Zachary, Alexis, Hannah and Danielle); his wife, Christina Kelly (of Syracuse, Indiana); and his five children, Wesley (21), Kaylin (19), Ethan (17), Rebekah (16) and Preston (14).

Stacy battled Stage IV cancer for 2½ years, over two years longer than expected. He was a passionate and devoted husband, father, family member, Scoutmaster (Troop 7195), business owner (Arizona Cap Co.), LDS church member (Stoneridge Ward, Prescott Valley, Arizona), community leader (Arizona Republican Party member who volunteered at the county and state levels), and party thrower. Not only was he a well-educated traveler of the United States, but he was also well versed in world geography and international relations, and took many friends on tours to other countries. While on this earth, he was typically found in the outdoors with his family and friends, reading from his enormous book collection, or scheming up countless business ventures. He has now joined his mother, Charlotte, to continue in the Lord’s work.

The funeral service will take place at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 24, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 7885 E. Long Look Drive, Prescott Valley, Arizona. A memorial service will take place in Warsaw, Indiana, Summer 2018. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the Marley House (Hospice), 1063 Ruth Street, Prescott, AZ 86301 or call 928-443-5400.
