Students, forget about marching and shouting, “Enough!” That doesn’t work. What works is supporting and voting for the party and candidates that promote the legislation you want. Do this as soon as you are old enough to vote.
In the meantime, volunteer to canvass voters at election time and donate your own money to your preferred party and candidates. Urge your parents, relatives, and friends to vote for the candidates that you support — and encourage them to resign from any organization that opposes your welfare.
You know which one I mean! In Arizona, Andy Biggs, Paul Gosar, Martha McSally, David Schweikert, and Jeff Flake receive donations from the NRA. And if you get most of your information from social media, try reading newspapers and magazines, where you have some idea of the information source.
