Letter: Millennial voting

We get the government we deserve.
One study finds that “voters between the ages of 18-29 made up just 19 percent of the electorate — that’s HALF the share of the Baby Boomer voting bloc (who were 38 percent of the electorate). In fact, millennials continue to have the lowest voter turnout of any age group.”
What ironic statistics! Young people who didn’t vote, and their children, are the very citizens who will have to face the possible effects of current anti-intellectual national policies influencing global warming, polluted oceans, polluted air, polluted soil, erosions of democracy, repressive immigration laws and the other myriad ills being heaped upon us.
Wake up, kids!
