Rick Moeller

Rick Moeller died May 21, 2018, after a short battle with cancer. He was 68. Rick was born in Detroit and moved to California when he was 11. After graduating from college, he was commissioned a 2nd Lt. in the USAF, got married, then served four years on active duty. Three years were in Germany and one in Phoenix, Arizona.

After getting out of the Air Force, he worked for 26 years as a deputy sheriff in California. He retired to Prescott Valley in 2004 and joined the parish of St. Germaine Catholic Church. He also was active in the Single Action Shooting Society in Prescott until his health started to fail. His shooter’s name was “Seymour Blood.”

He is survived by his wife of 44 years (Pati), two sons, and six grandchildren. His final wish was that, instead of praying for him, you pray for those who now must live without him, and may God bless us all.
