Willow Winds Assisted Living is offering a “Keeping your balance” discussion at 9 a.m., Wednesdays at the assisted living facility, 3191 Aster Drive, Prescott.
The series continues through Feb. 21.
People can learn how to view falls as controllable; set goals for increasing activity; make changes to reduce fall risks at home; and exercise to increase strength and balance.

The Coalition for Compassion and Justice is helping organize some activities celebrating Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Jan. 15.
A Peace and Justice March is scheduled for 10 a.m. starting at Prescott College, 220 Grove. Ave.
Snacks and interactive displays are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. at Prescott United Methodist Church, 505 W. Gurley St.
The MLK Legacy celebration takes place at 11 a.m. at the church.
At 6 p.m. on Jan. 15, the MLK Special Program evening service is scheduled at St. Luke’s Ebony Christian Church, 12191 E. Turquoise Circle in Dewey.
Nature study series to start
