The Yavapai College District Governing Board will hold its monthly meeting Tuesday, Feb. 13, from 1 to 5 p.m., on the Verde Campus, 601 Black Hills Drive, Building M, Room 137, in Clarkdale.
The board will consider approval of the intergovernmental agreement between the Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office and Yavapai College for a Northern Arizona Regional Training Academy sergeant, as well as recommendations for approval of additions and deletion of certificate programs. Additions include 3D modeling and animation, cybersecurity specialist, advanced hotel and restaurant management, medical office assistant and programming.
Yavapai College President Dr. Penny Wills will report at the meeting on updates from the Verde Valley campus, employee service recognition and the upcoming Spring Forums. The bi-annual forums — be held on the Prescott and Verde Valley campuses — provide an opportunity for students, faculty, and staff to receive college updates from the executive leadership team.
Dr. Clint Ewell, vice president of finance and administrative services, will present the FY 2018-2019 proposed tuition and fees, developed with input from administration, deans and finance staff.
