Joan Florence (Ash) Holevar, 85

Joan Florence (Ash) Holevar, 85, long time resident of Prescott, Arizona, succumbed to the ravages of age and Parkinson’s Disease in Prescott, Arizona, beginning her new journey on April 5, 2018. Born March 5, 1933 in Denver, Colorado, she was the daughter of the late Luther and Ruby (Williamson) Ash. She is survived by sons Bruce (Elaine) Davis of Vail, Arizona, Don (Jonee) Davis of Wheaton, Missouri, Michael Holevar of Prescott, Arizona; daughters Carol Davis of Tucson, Arizona, Laura (Charles) Adams of Santa Fe, Texas, daughter-in-law Maureen (Lopez) Holevar of Prescott; brother Claud W. Seal of Lancaster, California, as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Joan enjoyed a bookkeeping career of 30 years and spent her spare time living life fully through simple pleasures, from being an avid reader to showing off her talent as a beautiful seamstress. She was devoted to her grandchildren and great grandchildren and appreciated time with friends playing Bunco or trying new crafts. Joan loved to travel locally and abroad, always carrying her sense of humor with her.
