Thanks for the Talk of the Town article on saving our water, but it came a couple of days late for April Fools. I’ve lived in Prescott for several decades and fretted about water usage to the point where I take brief showers and have surrounded my house with rocks.

Over the years, I’ve watched greedy landowners team up with greedy developers who then install greedy politicians into office to build thousands and thousands of new homes in the middle of the worst drought since the Anasazi left. Now you’re telling me I should go catch raindrops off my roof as part of my civic duty. What I am going to do is take guilt free showers. I’m going to plant some flowers, and I might cover those rocks with a nice green lawn. What do you think about a pool...?
