Arizona Pioneers’ Home resident Betty D. Kent brought home three ribbons from the recent Yavapai County Fair held in Prescott. She is seen here with her hand-knitted stockings made from home-spun yarn from Alaska, her handmade washcloth, and her hand-tatted doily on display in the APH lobby.
Betty is a longtime resident of Flagstaff and the Verde Valley, a published author, and currently hosting a weekly class on World History. She also purchased some really neat CDs at the recent APH Red Barn Sale, put on by the APH Foundation.
