Suzanne Thomas passed away on Dec. 1, 2017, in Chino Valley, Arizona. Suzanne was born on May 27, 1940, in North Hampton Township, Ill. She was the daughter of Lee and Wanda (Huff) Sandberg.
Suzanne’s family moved to Phoenix, in the early 1950s. As a freshman at Scottsdale High School she met the love of her life, Gerald (Jerry) Nelson Thomas. Suzanne married Jerry Thomas on June 14, 1959. Their love and friendship was always an inspiration to their children and grandchildren.
Suzanne is survived by her husband of 58 years, Jerry Thomas; her children Patricia (Trish) Pittman (Russell), Christine Sevier (Robert) and Mark Thomas (Cyndi Willis Thomas); 10 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Her daughter Deborah Thomas Chamberlain preceded her in death, as did her parents.
Suzanne requested that her friends and family get together, have coffee and remember all the wonderful times they had together. The Coffee will be on Dec. 10, 2017, from 1-to-3 p.m. at the Chino Valley Community Center, 1527 North Road 1 East.
