With a theme of “Join the Voices of Recovery, Strengthen Families and Communities,” Prescott’s Recovery Day 2017 is scheduled in September to coincide with National Recovery Month.
The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 2, at Washington Elementary School, 300 E. Gurley St., Prescott.
Activities will include music, entertainment, free food, door prizes, children’s activities, speakers sharing their experience, and information booths on strength and hope.
“The theme promotes the belief that behavioral health is essential to health; prevention works; treatment is effective; and people recover from mental and/or substance use disorders,” states a flyer announcing the event.
