Bye, California

Editor:

So, the good people of California, the land of well… you know… want to pick up their marbles and go home.

They’d like to leave the Union, and go their own way. (Wasn’t that tried before?)

Well, I say “Let’s meet ‘em half way!” Let’s deprive them of their statehood!

Oh, happy day!

Sound nuts? Well, not so fast. Much of their government, including Les Grand Fromage in Sacramento have already committed the crime of Sedition, and many times over, what with their “Sanctuary” hi jinx. (18 C.S. Code sec. 2384.)

And Article IV, Sec. 3 of the U.S. Constitution says: “The Congress shall have power to dispose of and make all needful rules and regulations respecting the territory or other property belonging to the United States…”

So on the surface, this sounds doable.

Just think, California under federal rule. No votes in the Senate or the House.

Sounds like Heaven to me!
