Jay Marshall named to Cornell College Dean’s List
MOUNT VERNON, Iowa — Jay Marshall of Prescott Valley was one of about 200 students named to the Cornell College Dean’s List for the Spring 2017 semester. Cornell College is a national liberal arts college with a distinctive One Course at a Time curriculum. Students take one class for 18 days, which provides students the chance to dive into their studies and focus more intensely on the classes of their choice. Two earn academic honors at Capital University
BEXLEY, Ohio — Alex Anderson of Dewey was named to the Capital University President’s List for the spring 2017 semester and Daniel Geissler of Prescott made the university’s Dean’s List.
Capital has three lists denoting academic distinction among full-time, degree-seeking students: the President’s List, Provost’s List, and Dean’s List. The President’s List indicates the highest level of academic distinction. To be named to the President’s List, students must have achieved a grade point average of at least 3.85. In order to be named to the Dean’s List, full-time, degree-seeking students must have achieved a grade point average of at least 3.5.
PV resident named to Iowa Western Spring 2017 Honor Roll
COUNCIL BLUFFS, Iowa — Prescott Valley resident Jeremy Moyer was one of the 520 students named to the President’s Honor Roll at Iowa Western Community College. Moyer is majoring in, general studies. Students named to the President’s Honor Roll must be carrying at least 12 academic credit hours and attain a grade point average of at least 3.5 on a scale of 4.0.
2 make Dean’s List at Rochester Institute of Technology
ROCHESTER, N.Y. – David Ziminsky of Prescott and Catherine Mazza of Sedona made the Dean’s List for the 2017 spring semester at Rochester Institute of Technology. Ziminsky is studying mechanical engineering. Mazza is studying industrial design.
Degree-seeking undergrads are eligible for the Dean’s List if their term GPA is greater than or equal to 3.400; they do not have any grades of “Incomplete,” “D” or “F”; and they have registered for, and completed, at least 12 credit hours.
Prescott woman makes Azusa Pacific Deans’ List
AZUSA, California — Prescott resident and Azusa Pacific University student Sierra Howard made the academic Deans’ List at APU. A Business: Marketing Major, Howard is honored for a spring semester 2017 academic standing of a 3.5 or better grade-point average. Howard is joined by 1,953 other students receiving the same honor. Azusa Pacific University is an evangelical Christian university committed to God First and excellence in higher education.
